💡 Why This Exists
The Problem
BTS has deep institutional knowledge across COEs — but it's scattered and hard to access. Account managers can't always find the right expertise fast, and sometimes sell solutions that can't be delivered as scoped. There's so much sitting in people's heads that isn't in Box.
What We're Building
An AI-powered Knowledge Management system to capture, curate, and activate institutional knowledge across our Centers of Excellence — starting with the SAM COE as a pilot.
Three Parts
- Knowledge Capture Bot — interviews BTSers conversationally to extract expertise. Low friction, no documentation burden. Starting with COE leaders.
- Knowledge Agent — searches Box, uses Claude to score documents on quality, completeness, and relevance, and automatically sorts them into a tiered folder structure: Gold Standard → Working Library → Archive.
- Curation Wisdom Framework — defines what "BTS gold standard" knowledge actually looks like, so the agent curates with intent, not just volume.
What We're Trying to Do
- Curate gold standard examples — the work we're genuinely proud of and want to replicate
- Extract the knowledge that lives in people's heads — the critical insights that never get captured anywhere
- Build a library of signals and red flags — so when we're selling, scoping, and setting up teams, we know what to watch for based on client type, industry, and what's been sold
